On the 2nd Jan 2002 Nirvana left for America after having a very successful show career in Australia. At the time of leaving Nirvana was only 70 points short of gaining his Grand Championship Title.
One of his last shows before leaving Australia was the Scottish Breeds Kennel Club Championship Show where he was awarded Best in Show.
Nirvana had his American title by March 02 and his Canadian title later in that year.
We were honoured that he was accepted to compete at the prestigious Westminster Dog Show but then to go on and win BOB Gordon Setter was a wonderful thrill for us all.
Our special thanks go to Kristin Karboski (also RC & Shari Carusi for there support) for presenting Nirvana so beautifully, they were a fantastic team together!
Later in the year of 2003 Nirvana and Kristin went to the GSCA National Specialty and won BEST IN SHOW, at the 2004 GSCA National he was awarded a very prestigious ‘Award of Merit’.
Nirvana was retired from general competition after the 2004 National with a very impressive show record, which included 8 Specialty Best Of Breeds, reserve winners at a specialty and 12 Group Placements at All Breeds Shows.
He has also won the following awards

- G.S.C.A. BREED GORDON OF THE YEAR - 2003 (1st)
- G.S.C.A. BENCH GORDON OF THE YEAR - 2003 (3rd)
- G.S.C.A. TOP PRODUCER OF THE YEAR AWARD
- G.S.C.A. STUD DOG OF THE YEAR - 2004 (1st /tie),2005 (1st), 2006 (1st)
Nirvana was invited to compete at the AKC/Eukenuba Invitational in 2003, 2004 & 2005 and was a Crufts International Qualifier for 2004, 2005 & 2006

Nirvana is now a GSCA Top Producer! as his Australian son 'Nike' (Am & Aust Ch Brodruggan Black Knight) is his 10th American Champion, what a thrill to get this title with his Aussie son.!
